Blair Fryer BA (Hons.), Senior Manager With over a decade of experience in communications, strategic planning, government and media relations, Blair plays a lead role at Iris helping clients develop the right communications tools to meet their organizational objectives. Blair has worked at a senior level in a variety of settings, including as a Ministerial Assistant to a provincial cabinet minister and as Project Coordinator for Greater Vancouver’s largest transportation construction project to date. Since joining Iris, he has developed communications plans in the health sector, marketing materials for educational institutions and annual reports for provincial organizations. Blair has also provided crisis communications and media relations services to a variety of non-profit and public sector clients. Blair has an honours BA in Communications and Political Science from Carleton University and is a member of the Canadian Public Relations Society. A strong believer in volunteerism, he currently serves as Vice Chair of the South Burnaby Neighbourhood House. Away from work, Blair enjoys teaching the finer points of PR to his two daughters, gourmet cooking, and workouts at his local community centre.
