Kim Savage BA, Consultant

Kim Savage has eight years of experience in both fundraising and communications.

Before joining Iris, Kim worked in resource development for three Lower Mainland non-profit organizations. In this area, she worked with individuals, foundations and corporations on strategic communications, community relations, media strategies and fundraising for special projects.

At Iris, Kim recently developed a province-wide public awareness campaign on behalf of the social services sector. She is currently managing community relations for a local developer and helping various non-profits build capacity.

Kim has a BA in Communications from Simon Fraser University and has completed courses in fundraising with the AFP. She serves on the Board of the CPRS, Vancouver Chapter and is Chair of the CPRS Speaker Series.

When not playing trucks with her one-year-old son, Kim enjoys entertaining friends and family at home. If a moment of free time presents itself, she enjoys waterskiing and yoga or you can find her curled up with a good book.
